Privacy & Information Handling

Scope

This notice covers the APC Presidential Campaign Council platform: its public directory, editorial content, incident reporting and authorised operational workspaces. It is not the privacy notice of INEC.

Information and purpose

Published council profiles and election reference records contain information supplied for publication. Incident reports may contain a description, location, time, photographs or videos and optional contact details. Staff accounts, access assignments, sessions and audit trails support authorised work. Information is used to receive, assess and follow up reports, administer accounts and protect the service. Do not submit unrelated personal information or material that puts another person at unnecessary risk.

Storage and access

Records are held in the platform database. Media uses Cloudflare R2 with separate public and restricted storage. Incident attachments are private, with access restricted by role and geography. Public result sheets require separate publication review. A time-limited private download link must not be redistributed. Authorised service providers may process information needed for hosting, storage and communications.

Choices and requests

Contact details are optional for anonymous reporting. You may request access, correction or review of the handling of your personal information through the published contact channel. Some operational records may need to be retained for security, disputes or legal obligations; a request does not automatically erase an audit trail. Complaints may also be directed to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Google Maps and external source websites have their own privacy terms. This notice may change as operations change.
