Supporting founders at different stages

Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises includes support for the skills, businesses and investment environment of Nigeria’s digital and creative economy. The Startup Bridge pathway provides a practical route for founders to develop ideas and prepare growing ventures for investment.

Its Founders Lab serves entrepreneurs working on ideas, prototypes and early products. The Growth Lab is aimed at ventures that have moved further into product development and market activity. Training and mentorship are matched to these different stages rather than treating every business as investment-ready.

Capital linked to progress

The programme describes performance-based grant opportunities for early-stage participants and investment arrangements for more developed ventures. Funding is tied to execution and progress. Joining a programme is therefore not the same as receiving a grant or securing investment.

The intended public benefit is a stronger pathway from an idea to a viable enterprise. That involves business development as well as technology. Programme participation, capital committed, capital disbursed and lasting commercial outcomes remain separate measures of success.
